Our mission

We’re on a mission to put the mouth at the forefront of everyday healthcare.

Take control of your health.

Gum disease is a public health emergency, costing the UK over £5bn a year. 47% of adults over the age of 30 have some form of gum disease, which is shown to raise the risk of serious health conditions. We’re creating new services to stimulate a preventative approach to oral care.

42 %

can’t remember when they last replaced their toothbrush

82 %

of adult only visited the dentist once every two years

90 %

of under-30s don’t have an effective oral healthcare routine

Why floe?

We founded Floe to prove that good dental habits have a profound impact not just on your oral health, but your general health and wellbeing.

We’re here to take better care.

Not only for your teeth, but for the good of the planet. Our subscription helps you develop healthy habits that are kind to your mouth and the ocean.

Millions of toothbrushes are disposed of every year in household recyling. Councils cannot recycle them however, so they simply end up in landfill or the ocean.

At Floe we subscribe to a circular model aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources. Send all your used products back to us at end of life so we can ensure they’re correctly recycled and turned into new products.

4.7 bn

toothbrushes are manufactured every year globally

25 g

of plastic waste is generated by each toothbrush

1 %

of all toothbrushes have been recycled since 1930
